Conclave 2019

On January 37, 2019, SSFKC went to Conclave at Cupertino High School. We arrived there somewhat early, but we were immediately signed in and we had some time to greet our fellow Key Club friends. The Opening Session began and we gained information on Conclave and the March for Dimes Charity. After that, D34N stayed in the auditorium for Caucus. With had 6 candidates, and one by one, each had their speech and questioning. The 6 was lowered down to 3 candidates, but we had to vote again  because there was still a really close vote. I was not a delegate, but in my opinion, the voting was very difficult because the top 3 candidates were very fit for the position. Lunch went pretty smoothly and we went straight into our DCM, but we were in the cafeteria rather than the auditorium. As Closing Session came around, I was DYING to know who my next LTG was. But first, we learned about DCON information, and it was actually very interesting. Then the time came and we found out that Emmanuel Flores will be the next LTG! I’m very proud and happy that the division is in his hands. Overall, Conclave was exciting and quite fulfilling.
